Senior Clinical Position – Early Psychosis Program Clarendon Clinic - East Melbourne location About the Role Centrally located and close to multiple public transport routes, this is a great opportunity to increase your skills in a senior capacity. You will provide a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment and support to clients of the St. Vincent’s integrated adult Mental Health Service and their carers, demonstrating excellence in discipline specific and recovery-focused case management skills. You will join a dynamic community mental health team operating under a recovery-oriented model of care, utilising the Strengths Model of Case Management and working with consumers experiencing First Episode and Early Psychosis. Work within the Strengths Model of recovery orientated practice providing supervision and leadership to staff Work one to one and build a therapeutic alliance with the consumer and family/carers actively engaging them in the planning, delivery and evaluation of their care Undertake the assessment, provision of treatment and delivery of targeted interventions to consumers with first episode psychosis and their family/carers Classifications for this position will range from OT/SW Grade 3 YB24 - YB27 or YC46 - YC49 ($101,597 - $116,074 per annum) Psychologist Grade 3 PL1 - PL4 ($108,279 - $123,905 per annum). RPN Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($112,465 - $121,113 per annum) Your Contribution Current registration with AHPRA (if applicable) A minimum of 5 years post qualification clinical experience for Nursing, and 7 years post qualification clinical experience for Allied Health within Mental Health Services Extensive experience in the provision of assessment, discipline specific intervention and case management services for consumers experiencing early psychosis, as well as providing appropriate support for their carers and families within a recovery framework Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health staff A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act 2022 (including amendments) and other relevant legislation Current Victorian driver’s license A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain What We Offer A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling A healthy work/life balance encouraged. The Clarendon Clinic Continuing Care Teams provide ongoing specialist treatment and support to meet the identified needs of clients who suffer with a serious mental illness and associated high level of disability in the City of Yarra.
